    Job Purpose

    The Turnover Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing support to the quality team by ensuring that turnover files are maintained and ready for release as planned.

    Responsibilities

    • Displays a commitment to Waiward’s incident-free vision, values, and culture;
    • Progressively updates and maintains quality turnover packages;
    • Performs scanning onto quality drive job folders;
    • Assembles Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) binders associated documentation;
    • Maintains turnover package requirement log for production meeting;  
    • Acknowledges and has a basic understanding of the ISO-9001 quality assurance system;
    • Works with document control to submit and receive quality documents;
    • Assists in developing inspection and tests planned according to customer specifications and governing codes;
    • Works with Shop QC Coordinator to meet customer quality documentation requirements;
    • Has a good understanding of material traceability;
    • Interfaces with the paint shop and NDE inspectors to maintain reports;
    • Other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma;
    • 2 years in a similar role preferred;
    • Must have general knowledge of CSA standards W47.1, W59, S16, W178.1, W178.2;
    • Must have an interest in technical knowledge of welding procedures and practice for structural quality steel.

    Working Conditions

    The incumbent is required to work in an office environment with moderate noise. They job may require the incumbent to walk stairs and being exposed to normal office routines.

     

    Physical Requirements

    The incumbent is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal for extended periods of time; and extensive reading. The incumbent is also required to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
